For positions involving work with children and vulnerable adults, an Enhanced CRB check will be required;
Enhanced Disclosure
£48.00 (£36 plus admin fee £12.00)
Individuals applying for an enhanced Disclosure are charged an additional £7.00 to cover additional verification costs and expenses.
Enhanced CRB checks are for posts involving work in a regulated activity for a regulated activity provider with children or vulnerable adults and
include a check of the new barred lists and any locally held police force information considered relevant to the job role, by Chief Police Officer(s).
ISA Adult First
£12.00 (£6.00 plus £6.00 administration fee)
This check (formally known as POVAFirst check) is available only in very exceptional circumstances in which a "care worker" may be allowed to start work in a care home, or a domiciliary care agency or as a adult placement carer before a CRB Disclosure has been issued.
