Established in 1993 in
order to provide long and/or short term domiciliary care to people in their own
homes, Penhellis Community Care, based in Helston, offers a wide rage of domiciliary health and social care services throughout Cornwall.
We are an approved provider with Cornwall Council and have a 2 star rating with the Care quality commission.
All our staff undertake specific
training relevant to tasks which they are expected to perform and all healthcare workers
are trained to a minimum
NVQ Level 2 standard.
Penhellis Community Care works in partnership with and Cornwall College to provide training to all healthcare workers.
The backgrounds of all our staff are rigorously checked and as a registered umbrella body of the Criminal records bureau (CRB) and we can apply for disclosures on behalf of other organisations through our CRB disclosure service.
