The LDQ has 4 induction units. These four units cover the six common induction units.
Each unit has a assignment that you will complete and will be marked by Ultimate Training.

These assignments will be kept in your portfolio; on each study day you will gain the knowledge to enable you to complete each assessment. You will be asked to hand them in on the following study day. This system is in place to support you with a target date to work towards. However you must only hand them in when you feel you have answered them to the best of your ability.

The training sessions will include group discussions, group exercises and individual exercises.
These sessions are also designed to enable candidates to draw upon their own knowledge and practice as well as providing guided learning.

Completion of the induction award will enable workers to demonstrate that they have met the requirements of the Common Induction Standards in a learning disability context. Achievement of the award will also lead to progression within the Health and Social care sector, and demonstrate achievement and evidence towards NVQs at the appropriate level.
