The short courses we offer are workplace based and have been specifically chosen to provide workers with the skills which will enable them to carry out their work safely and confidently aiding compliance with legal requirements and regulations.

We operate a "distance learning" scheme, which means that all the candidate's work and knowledge evidence is assessed and verified by post.

Following registration, the trainee is provided with a workbook, normally containing between 2 and 5 "units" each relating to specific areas of their work in relation to the specific course, and allocated a personal training advisor who will provide ongoing advice and assistance throughout the term of the course.

Each individual trainee will complete the required work at their own pace, but a "unit" is expected to be completed within 3- 4 weeks.

On satisfactory completion of all units within the course our internal verifier will confirm that the course has been completed and the awarding body, NCFE, will issue a nationally recognised certificate.
